Installing Artificial Grass on Hills
Ultra Base panels allow one to create stable sub bases for artificial grass installations on hills or landscaped areas without the need for extensive leveling work. To keep panels from sliding, some installers recommend the use of 18-inch steel spikes - driven through the spike holes in the panels - to prevent the panels from sliding.
Once the artificial grass is laid over the panels, it can be stapled into the top edges of the panels and along the outer wall of the panels. This process along with Ultra Base's turf barbs help keep the grass in place.
