Convert Concrete or Asphalt Areas Into Athletic Fields Fast and Easy

Read Video Transcript and Main Points Addressed Below

A recent project we finished up, which I’m excited about, I’ve waited a long time for this, this was our first MAX installation for a conversion of a hard area. In this case, it was asphalt. This was at a local school here, Indian Rocks Christian School in Largo, Florida. We’ve been working with those folks there for quite some time and trying to get a synthetic turf area of some sort in this area to take away some of the concerns that they’ve got. They have a lot of rain and drainage issues in some of their small play fields.

Converting Concrete and Asphalt Areas Into Fields Without Having To Remove Them

What we did is we basically converted an old basketball asphalt area into a state-of-the-art synthetic turf field, all with Ultra Base MAX. We shot a full video of the whole entire process from start to finish, basically patching up some of the asphalt, laying the panels out, putting the turf in, a little bit of infill. When we were done, it was magnificent. With the GMAX is coming in average around 90, 91. It feels tremendous under foot. We’ve had some athletes, some football players and soccer players on it. I’ve been waiting my entire career to be able to bring something to you folks that you can basically go out there and install on top of virtually anything, whether it’s old stone or compacted earth, or, in this case, concrete asphalt, and converted it into a state-of-the-art facility with little to no effort. That’s what Ultra Base MAX is doing for us. Look for the video coming soon.
